Deck the Halls

Yay! It's December and the most wonderful time of year! It is definitely feeling and looking very merry at the Bradford household! We got our tree and although it took us several nights, we finished decorating it! I have to say that there is nothing quite like seeing Christmas through the eyes of your child! I love Christmas and always thought it was magical, but seeing Jack so thrilled and excited is even more magical! He LOVES all the "hoho things."  Now frequently throughout the day he will say, "Merry Christmas Mommy, Merry Christmas." It's so cute!

  Night #1 of Tree Decorating: No Decorations.

 We got home with our tree and were all ready to decorate it! We had our mugs filled with egg, and Amy Grant's "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" playing in the background, when we realized all our decorations, lights, ect.. were in the rafters of Sean's parent's garage. Doh. We enjoyed our egg nog anyway.

Night #2 of Tree Decorating: Operation Lights. 

 We had some technical difficulties with our lights for the tree so it took forever to get them up! My sweet husband literally went through like 5 strands, tightening and checking each light to see which one was causing the short! He was successful and found it! But the next day, half of another strand (already on the tree) went out! Boo. So we had to re-do the lights.

 Night #3 of Tree Decorating: Lights- check. Ornaments- check. 

  Finally we had everything we needed! We had so much fun decorating our tree!! And Jack was such a good little helper!
